I semi-recently had the pleasure of tasting through their entire lineup at a @jigzliquor event that @ Type: Finished Bourbon Mash Bill Percentages: 75% Corn, 21% Rye, 4% Malted Barley Proof: 110° Age: 14 My last sip is careful but confident in its delivery with honey oats, soft pecans, pine bristle and a Rating: 5/5 This is really a tremendous pour. This 14 year stuff is really worth it' weight in gold.

TL;DR: Very on-brand for Heaven Hill & extremely crushable Rating: 4/5 (Really good; I want one of these I couldn't care less - it's 11 years, 5 months. It's not quite exceptional whiskey - not grand enough to earn my 5 score, but it certainly has a place it's earned my 'Keep Amongst the Whiskey' distinction which sort of functions like a +0.5 to the final rating

Rating: 5/5 (Just wow. One of my favorites.) I don't think I'll ever tire of this bottle. As such, it handily earns my top rating as an incredibly nuanced, spectacular whiskey. Kudos to the Michter's team for another exceptional release. Cheers!

I personally prefer some of the sweeter tones that tend to be more rare in these barrels, though some Otherwise it is very similar overall and certainly on the same quality level. They're all exceptional and that is all that matters! blend to batch 1 Batch 3: 41 barrels of 20 year, 17 barrels of 18 year, and the rest being 15 year and 14

This is one of those unicorns you don't see very often. Even more rare... is an open bottle. Immediately that folds into a nice leather base that shows off some exceptional age.
